Getting Started

Once you touch down all you need to do is contact our office in the UK so that we can get you set to start work. We will provide you with specific details as to how and when you will be paid for any work that you do. All UK contact details will be given to you prior to your departure from your home country. Our agency operate by using timesheets that need to be filled in either;

  • Weekly if you are working long term or
  • Daily if you are working day to day

All time sheets must be signed and verified by a qualified representative of the school you work at. (Usually the Office/Subject Line Manager or Deputy Head/Head Teacher). Most Schools will have a pack of timesheets that can be used if you run out or forget to take yours to work. Time sheets will need to be faxed to each office on Friday afternoons so that you can be paid on the following Thursday. This may change depending on the policy of each agency so please check this before undertaking any work placement. The good thing with agency work is that you can count on your wages being paid into your bank account at the same time every week. If you become a permanent contract staff member you will need to budget your money because you will be paid on the last Friday of each month.

NB. (Workers on permanent contract are paid monthly in accordance with all Local Education Authorities. Your wage will come directly from the LEA Schools budget; not from the agency in which you were placed through)
